UnInstalling Visual Studio could be a pain in ass sometimes. This week I tried to upgrade my VS 2008 team suite installation to SP1. Instead of getting upgraded the exisitng installtion got corrupted and you know Iam in middle of projects not able to do anything , huh!

Tried to uninstall the existing installtion but in vain. Finally something from Microsoft came to my rescue.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/bb968856.aspx

It an automated uninstall tool, works in silent mode and uninstalls Visual Studio peacefully.

Was a real life saver for me!

Hope all those reading this blog will also find it useful.
